chest pain by heart after drinking sugary drinks?
i drank a large tim hortons hot chocolate and i started to get chest pains. its happend for the last week. i have a blood glucose meter as my dog has diabetes and it a contour usb. i checked my level at its at 5.7 after drinking the hot chocolate. i have not eaten anything today.
i just tested it again and its at 4.1
it is tested using mmol/L

After drinking the sugary drinks the blood glucose level will increase. It is common. The cause of chest pain can be related to stomach. You have the chest pain because of the acidity. The gastrointestinal problems can cause the chest pain. Eating and drinking more sugary substances are not good.

I do not understand your parameters(particularly blood glucose) but your chest pain may be due to digestion problem of the drink,you have had and therefore you need not panic.However you can go to the nearest hospital and have some simple tests done for your heart to make sure that heart is fine.
