The full engine weighs 575 pounds assuming its a long water pump and stock bore, the bare engine block with nothing but the pressed cam bearings is 171 pounds. The cam bearings cant be more than a pound so 170 pounds give or take a few ounces. By comparison the newer 350s with 1 piece rear main weighed in at 159 pounds. (157 for a 0.040 over bore).

I have a bare 350 4 bolt main sitting in my garage and I would say it weigh's around 70 to 80 pounds.

Forgive my answer but the few pounds difference doesn't amount to much when you consider the extra stabilization given by the 6 extra bolts and thicker bearing stirrups..Can't be much over 15-20 pounds maximum difference.

Around 200 lbs. Depending on block material and block type. Aluminum blocks are around 100 lbs. Only the casting is 80 Kilograms (Got you! Did I?)

They have slightly different weights dependant on their original intended use. Some had different material and some had slightly different water jacket configurations but in general they are too heavy to use as a boat anchor. I could pick one up in my youth and my employee Tank used to stack them four high for me in our shop.
