getting your period every 2 weeks isn't normal either and neither issue has anything to do with changing your diet. Its only been a week, not long enough to have those kinds of far reaching effects.
You are only 14 which means your period hasn't settled in yet, your hormones are still raging and still uneven.
Eat healthy and the rest will sort itself out. IF the heavy/ by weekly periods keep it up, THEN its time for a visit to your doctor.

I wouldn't worry. It's common for your period to be weird and irregular when you're young. Of course, health and diet changes CAN temporarily effect your cycle, as well as stress. I recommend waiting it out for awhile. You can see a doctor if you're really worried, but, again, it is normal to be irregular for several years.
Also, make sure you do some nutritional research with your switch to vegetarianism. Anytime you make a major, long-term change to your diet, you should research what foods to eat so you get all the nutrients you need. Good luck!

no darling ,that is not because you became a vegetarian but you should see a doctor because there is a problem but be sure it's not related to your vegetarianism,I'm a vegetarian for more one year and I can say I get my period with no pain and that is all because I became a vegetarian , go on with no doubt

you should bleed less than when you're eating meat. Did you increase your dairy consumption? Dairy foods can really mess with your periods and fertility. But you really should see a doctor if you're bleeding during ovulation as well as mensturation. I don't want to scare you, but it sounds suspiciously like endometriosis. Being vegan can help with that, but it's not a miracle cure. But there are a lot of things, like you could have PCOS and your hormone levels all out of balance, like maybe not enough progesterone or too much estrogen or something.

It's not because you became vegetarian, it's your nutrition you need to keep in check, educate yourself in nutrition and you will have better results.

heavier period may be a sign of lack of Iron. check your blood test.
please bare in mind that many people eat meat , yet they have iron issues, including myself. now i don't eat meat but i take supplements and it is fine. i mean if you came up to realise you have lack of iron, it doesn't mean that having meat will solve it.

Yes because your lacking Iron, meat is the best source of iron which you only need a little amount otherwise you need to eat lots and lots of spinage.
