    Hi,

Regardless of whether you are using the CD for personal use or not, then you legally need to purchase the music.

Someone else suggested to extract audio from Youtube videos. This is a possibility but 1.) This is illegal/copyright infringement and 2.) The music CAN be of very poor quality (even a 720p video on youtube has 128k AAC audio nowadays I believe) or edited (like pitch/tempo changed) to prevent it being detected and removed by Youtube's audio fingerprint system.

If you purchase the music, you know its going to be good quality, and the artists/copyright holders will get their cut.

Anyway. Once you have the music, you can use any burning software you like. Some people use Windows Media Player or iTunes, and this is fine. But personally, I recommend CDBurnerXP, which gives you more control and settings to adjust before burning to CD, you can even make a "non-stop" album with it if you wanted to.

    Hope i've helped :)

The same way you download mp3 music for any purpose. CD burning software will take mp3's regardless of the purpose for their download.
