Sorry for the vague description but its most definitely between 1998 and 2004. I cannot use apps like shazam because I haven't heard this song in years.

It sounds like it has a male and female singer. I believe there is some rapping in it as well. The song is almost the same all the way through, like a looping sample from another song. There is also a fairly distinct vinyl scratching sound (like someone is putting their hand on the record and pushing backwards and forth 4 times in about 2 seconds), and I think it's only in the chorus but not 100 percent sure; it could be all the way through.

The male voice is quite deep in the chorus and I think both singers are American.

The lyrics are something like:

(Male) What's Up (closely followed by the female saying the same thing) (this bit may be repeated)

(Female) All Right

(Vinyl scratching)

(Both) and we can....

It sounds a bit like Ashanti/Ja-Rule although I've listened to samples from all of their albums as well as goggling through several R&B compilations and still cannot find this song.

I can only give a vague description of this song but it used to be popular at college. I have no idea of it's age apart from it can't be newer than 2008 because that is the year I left college. But I heard it play on the radio the other day which seemed like a unlikely place to hear it.

It's a very simple song with no drum beat as such. It's got an unusual rhythm and is quite repetitive in nature.

The song sounds like it has basically 2 looping keyboard parts throughout the whole song.

One of those keyboard parts is a single note possibly a high G sharp which is played every 4 or so seconds.

The other keyboard part has got a "ooo eee-eee" rhythm to it.

It has lyrics but its so quick it's difficult to pick up any specific words. It's a male voice but it sort of says it in a gibberish manner. It's not singing as such and there isn't much variation in notes.

It's a dance/EDM/techno type song and has a very distinct 3 note synth pattern in certain parts of the song. I don't remember any lyrics but I believe it has some male vocals in it.

It was likely released between 2007 and 2013 and is in the style of Calvin Harris/Deadmau5/Swedish House Mafia.

It could be a remix of a song or an original song altogether, not really sure.

I'm going to view this stunning diesel coupe tomorrow after seeing it on Autotrader.co.uk. The thing that bothers me is that it appears that looking at the pictures someone has painted the silver alloys matt black. Everything else about the car looks completely standard. I've checked online for replacement alloy wheels and they topple over £500 for a set of 4.

How easy (or not so easy) would it be to return the alloys to the original shiny silver colour? Also if anyone could give any estimates as to the rough cost to get them sorted, that would be great.

I heard this song play at work and the only lyrics i picked up was "new yoorrk cityyy" That was how it sounded in the song.

It sounds like a 70s or 80s song similar to Gerry Rafferty, Glenn Frey or George Harrison perhaps. And is sung by what seems to be a solo male.

I couldn't use shazam because we're not allowed mobile phones on the store floor and the music plays relatively quietly.

If anyone could tell me what it is that would be fantastic.

I like to sing, but one thing that bothers me is being able to hit higher pitched notes sung by a male singer. I'm not talking falsetto like Justin Hawkins or the Bee Gees; I can do that alright. :)

Take for example "Love Me Again" by John Newman. I can do the verse bits quite well, and can mimic his style; but it all falls to bits for me when I try to do the chorus and the bridge bit.

Ok here's a slight situation I just want to know whether this would be considered normal or a complete no no.

I'm leaving my current job and there is a female work colleague who's always been there for me and supported me; especially when having a difficult time. I just wanted to buy her a very small bunch of flowers as a kind gesture to say thank you for being there and being supportive. She does have a boyfriend but I completely understand and respect that fact. I wouldn't ever try to advance on someone already in a relationship and she is aware of that. But I accidentally mentioned the idea to my mates when I've had a few drinks and they think I'm crazy. What do you think?

My dad has a 2007 A6 model (2.0 TDI SE saloon) and has only had it for 7 weeks. It's been in garage longer than what it's been on the road working.

For some reason the battery goes flat by itself, but the alternator works as once the car is jump started it charges.

It's had 2 new batteries in the space of 6 months; so it cannot be this, and it's also just had a new control module fitted and it's still doing it. It's been to 2 Audi garages and both seem stumped.

What could this be can anyone help?

I want to get into some good films, partly in order to help brush up my knowledge on popular films. I do a lot of quiz nights, and movie questions come up very often and haven't been able to answer any correctly!

Can anyone recommend some good UK sites where you can buy to download movies? Preferably in High Definition and in 5.1 surround if available would be a bonus.

Just to note, I'm looking to buy films outright from legitimate companies not rent them or pirate them. Renting could be an option but I might need to go back and cross reference something, in which case it works out more expensive.

Also can you recommend any good films that you've seen or Blu-ray/DVD/Digital or in a cinema? I'm mainly more into Action and Comedy but I'm willing to broaden my horizons within reason :)

Ok, I'm 23 and admittedly I have lowish self esteem. My mates and I regularly go to this pub in my local town which has a party on Saturday nights. However just lately, one keeps asking random girls for their number for me. I don't get a say in the matter and most of the time they just are not my type. Also he doesn't seem to understand that I'm more interested in the person than the way they look and possible one nighters. If they are pretty then that is only a bonus. Tonight he also asked 2 girls which try to sell shots for their number and I just felt so embarrassed. The only girls I talk confidently to are ones I've known for years. I'm useless at talking to complete strangers.

My question is, is it normal to be embarrassed in a situation like this and also is there any recommendations you could give me on how to approach girls more confidently?

I have this song which is in my head and I just cannot get who it is and what it's called. I used to have this song on a compilation cassette which I brought in the early-mid 1990s. This cassette also had stuff like It's My Life - Dr Alban, and Tears Don't Lie by Mark'Oh.

Here's what I remember from the song:

- It was entirely instrumental. No vocals whatsoever.

- It was probably about the standard 3 or 4 minutes in length.

- It sounded like a much older song than what it actually was.

- Features a couple of organs, trumpets and possibly a trombone

- It sounded quite different on the left channel to the right

- featured a lot of reverb

I heard this song on the radio today when I was at work (Q radio) and I heard this dance type song sounded like it was from the 1990s. Its got a bit of an uptempo beat. The main voice is quite low pitched and in the chorus it has what could a small 2-3 second sample for what sounds like a young choir boy or girl.

The song is about 5 minutes in length.

Its not an awful lot to go on I just want to know what its called!

I have a dying GTX 470 at the moment, it won't let me play any games without crashing or pixellating up (temps and drivers are fine).

Question is what to upgrade to? These are the two main cards, on the plus side the HD 7970 has an extra GB of RAM (which would be handy for my heavily modded GTA IV and Skyrim. (Both of these use about 98% of the 470's 1280mb Memory and that's when I get crashes) but Nvidia cards to me have always been more stable and more universally compatible with games.

I'm in the UK, and play games at 1920x1080.

Just lately, a lot of my games have been running fine until they crash. I sometimes get a blue screen saying something about WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR sometimes, the games just pixel-late and freeze and the only way out is to reset the pc. It isn't overheating as GPU tempratures never really go beyond 55c and cpu temps stay below 50.

It happens on all Crysis games, GTA 4, Battlefield 3, NFS Most Wanted 2012.

I've tried reinstalling windows/reinstalling graphics drivers but it doesn't help.

I have been on this dating site for a few months and whilst I messaged girls, no one got back to me. Anyway one day I got a message out of the blue. We've been talking a little bit but I feel the conversation never really gets to the point where I can ask her out.

I'm quite a quiet person, and I think she is quite shy too. We have a few things in common but our lifestyles are very different. She is so shy I feel that she knows more about me than I know about her. When I do ask her something like what occupation she has she seems very vague, yet I've told her where I work and stuff. The same goes with interests and hobbies.

I do get a sense she seems quite a nice person to talk to but I am half afraid of asking her out. Don't laugh but if I do it'd be my first official date I've ever had and let's just say I'm well past teenage years. We haven't talked in about 3 or 4 days now, should I consider asking her out or moving on?

We have a 1999 mk1 Vectra with the X20DTH engine, over 225,000 miles on the clock!

Just these last few weeks for some reason, the throttle cuts out altogether. It only seems to happen when the engine is warm, if you lift the foot off the accelerator pedal. It doesn't cut back in unless you pump the throttle pedal.

As you can imagine this is pretty dangerous if it happens at a junction. There is no engine management light on when these symptoms occur. The problem seems to be getting a lot worse, at first we did think that it was down to wet weather, however these past few times driving it, it has happened when the weather is dry too.

Any ideas as to what this could be and if possible roughly how much are we talking for it to be sorted?

I need some advice on what I should do really. Sorry its going to be quite an exhausting read:

Basically, there is this girl that used to be in some classes at school, and have known of each other since year 6. I've always liked her and i've always seen something different in her compared with other girls. Although I was extremely quiet at school, kept myself to myself. She always talked to me and even if we passed each other in the corridor to get to the next lesson at school she always said Hi or smiled at me and I smiled back. My 2 best mates at the time also liked her too, although one of them is currently engaged to someone else and the other one, whilst single and still likes her, keeps telling me he is letting me pull her as he feels he doesn't have as much in common.

Several years down the line and we lost contact with each other. I joined Facebook about just over a year ago, and up until a few weeks ago, I decided to add her as a friend anyway, and within 2 seconds she had accepted the request. We are both the same age, 22, and a couple of weeks back she turned up at one of the town pubs with some of her girl friends and I was already there.

We got talking, conversation flowing, her best friend put a picture up of this girl and I sitting next to and cuddling each other. We discovered we had so much in common. Both have the same type of music taste which actually isn't what most people our age listen to, and our future ambitions are the same as well such as wanting a family down the line etc...

We were messaging each other in the meantime, and it seemed to be going alright, I did leave a bit of an open question like wanting to meet up again and she never responded to that.

We re-met out again down the same pub precisely 2 weeks later with the same group of friends and again conversation was flowing very well. I decided to just ask her casually whether she was currently seeing anyone and she said "Well, kind of, but its a bit complicated at the moment" Being polite and gentle about it I didn't mention it any more. Yet according to her best friend (admittedly she had a couple of wines), I asked her the same thing about the girl and she said "yes, she is single". Also it shows as single on her Facebook page as well.

We moved on to a club afterwards, she is a regular there but that was my first time in there, basically because of my taste in music I didn't belong but I gave it a go. I quite enjoyed it and it was time to go. I asked if she would be willing for me to have her phone number and she wouldn't give it to me because of her current "complicated relationship with someone else", we gave each other a peck on each cheek and called it a night.

In short, I really, really like her. Unlike a lot of girls she is naturally pretty and although she isn't the slimmest I have ever seen, she doesn't need to lose weight, I like her the way she is. I know her friends know really like her, and I think that she really likes me too.

What I want to ask is, why do you think her friends say shes single, on her facebook profile is single, yet she says she is kind of with someone at the moment and I also heard her say that to one of her other friends as well later on the evening?

I'm 22 years of age and rather embarrassed to say that I've never been in a relationship with a girl. There are girls I fancy but feel I cannot be any more than friends most likely because they are in good relationships of their own, or they might not feel the same way about me. I'm not like most people my age. I'm not into modern pop dance or electronic music. I like a lot of rock music of all ages. I don't like clubbing since I feel I don't belong. I get teased at work because I've always been single and I have a bit of a crush on one of my work colleagues. I've always like her and we always get on well. Just lately though I've discovered that she likes one of my all time favourite bands and we actually have so much in common. The problem though is that She is already with someone and I wouldn't want to destroy our friendship by telling her. I feel slightly jealous when I see other young couples holding hands and kissing. Sometimes I think I'm better off holding on for the right one but my worry is when it's going to happen. I'm worried I'll wind up fraile and old before I meet anyone. When I do go out I'm so quiet and shy I don't have the bottle to go up to someone and say hi. Which doesn't even help matters. I'm also not great looking. I'm trying to do something about it. I'm 5ft 10 and weigh just over 14st. There isnt a bad bone in me and i know i can treat them right. Is there any advice you can give me to help me find that someone special. I have a problem with my Vauxhall Corsa 2002 plate SXi (Corsa C) in that sometimes when I lock the doors all of the doors lock except for the passenger door (the locking sound is slower too if that makes sense). However, if I unlock it and lock it again, all is fine.

I admit this is not too much of a problem, but what can I do to get rid of this annoyance? because one day I may forget to repeat the procedure leaving my vehicle a security risk.
