Audi A6 battery depletes?
My dad has a 2007 A6 model (2.0 TDI SE saloon) and has only had it for 7 weeks. It's been in garage longer than what it's been on the road working.
For some reason the battery goes flat by itself, but the alternator works as once the car is jump started it charges.
It's had 2 new batteries in the space of 6 months; so it cannot be this, and it's also just had a new control module fitted and it's still doing it. It's been to 2 Audi garages and both seem stumped.
What could this be can anyone help?
Cheers
Edit: I should add that it drains in less than 1 day, that is definitely not normal in my book; and renders the car useless. I accept that around a week or two weeks is normal, but this is just daft.

I know someone who had a brand new bmw which is designed to fully drain the battery after sitting dormant for a little over a week. They told him to plug it in to a charger if hes going to be gone that long. Nothing was wrong with the battery or the car though, it was meant to do that.

Something remains draining the battery while it is off. A light, A sensor, A subwoofer, amplifier, etc. some piece of electronic equipment remains on while the car is off. Take it to a certified electrician
