Why was my question deleted/ ?

I asked a legitimate question..... even suggested a couple of possible answers.... and not only was it deleted....I received no "official notice "of that deletion nor a reason !

WHY?

Update:

Been an active member of Y/A for SEVEN YEARS...... I am number five on the list of top Best Answers on Politics

You can be certain I am fairly familiar with the Community Guidelines...... BUT even if I were not....they are supposed to give me a notice and allow me to appeal...????

Pretty bad when Y/A breaks its own rules and guidelines ! ! !X

Update 2:

Thank you for the tidbits of information..... the question was not up a full day and I had requested an extention.....it should have been up a week.... it had at least one answer before being pulled.....so none of these options match the facts.... I am left with the conclusion someone is violating their own rules.....

Update 3:

None of you have offered a logical reason that fits the facts.... the only conclusion so far is Y/A is violating it's own rules .... arbitrarily pulling questions it does not like for reasons other than community guidelines..... the system is corrupted / bias

Update 4:

ZRP.....And you donot het that if I put up the question they will remove it AGAIN.... and this question is the ONLY way I have to communicate with them.....they did not send me ANY other way to communicate with THEM.....

TOU denigrate me....imply I am stupid.... yet it is YOU that does not understand what is going on

Without complete context can't say for sure however. Some possibilities. Questions without answers are removed by Yahoo after 4 days 8 if you extended it or no best answer" won the vote. You don't lose any points.if it is voted NBA..

If you did not receive a violation notice (even check your spam folder to see if you got it), then your question was very likely not reported enough times to get it deleted as a violation.

It may have not gotten any answers before the question was set to go into voting, which would cause the question to be deleted with no notification and no lose to you. It may also have gotten answers, gone into voting, and then No Best Answer was the most voted choice, which would cause the answer to be deleted again, no notification sent, but you would get the 5 points you spent on the question back. A third possibility is that your answer had answers and even had a best answer, but then the best answer was reported enough to get it deleted, which would typically cause your question to be deleted (since not counting glitches, a resolved/reference question can not exist without it's best answer) with no point loss to you and again no notification.

You can't do anything about these three possibilities.

If you did not get notified of the question being deleted, this is what could have happened: the question did not get any answers after 4 days, the best answer was reported, or the question went to voting and "No Best Answer" was chosen by the community.

    Hi. Friend,

When we can't follow the guideline of the yahoo answers community, then our answers and questions are deleted by the yahoo answers community. many times we can't receive any answers on our question then our question delete by the yahoo communities. So read first yahoo community guideline, and the start ask questions and give answers.

    Thanks
