"Controlled" might be said too much, but Russians liberated Prussia from Napoleonic troops in the winter of 1813, when the Prussian army itself still was in reorganisation. In the way allied troops can do, they controlled Pomerania during that time, though not officially.

Pomerania was considered part of Poland which was behind the Iron Curtain so when they became part of the USSR they would have been under Russian Control after and during WW2 to the Collapse of the Soviet union in the 90s.
Oh I'm sorry I didn't see the additional details at first, no Pomerania was never controlled by Russia before WW1 Prussia and what is modern day Germany were a huge super power and they have shown to very territorial and with Pomerania being a port to the Atlantic they would have never let go of it.
