places to live similar to Seattle area?

I currently live about 20 min south of Seattle. I don't want to live any closer. I don't care about the "big city" I love this area, mountains, green everywhere, the weather, etc. My question is: is there places (hopefully in washington) that are a little less....liberal. I'm no conservative I'm pretty split between parties actually. I just don't seem to be on the same page as everyone I meet ( I moved here a year ago).

Update:

Min population around 50,000. Decent size without all the nonsense that comes with living closer to Seattle, but not a blink and you miss it town.

    I lived in Ballard for 22 years and recently moved near Squak Mountain (just south of Issaquah and east of Renton) so I could have a horse. Despite what those city people think, it is definitely more "diverse" here. Maybe less ethnically diverse but definitely more economically and politically diverse.

    Of course that diversity means that you might have one neighbor who keeps up on their property very nicely and another neighbor who has three generations some of whom live in a trailer in the driveway.

    If you lean libertarian at all, you'd like it. East Renton Highlands, Puyallup, Monroe, North Bend, etc. Most people really just want the freedom to do their own thing. Unlike those city people who think the government should control our money, thoughts and lifestyle choices.

    Stay away from Issaquah, Redmond and Kirkland.

    If you think about it the reason you "love this area" is probably at least in part because of liberals who have fought to protect the mountains from over-development and the "green everywhere" is only because all those liberal people fought to protect the forests or the whole place would be clearcuts. If you are looking for more conservative types, take a look at Bellevue or Mill Creek.

    Most places along I-5 ... including Vancouver, WA.

    What!?! You don't like Federal Way / Tacoma?

    {Last I knew, Sultan was a very small town.}

    Yes. Try Sultan, Washington.

    Duvall, WA.

    Less skeezers out there.
