The only reason the rioters in Seattle had > anything < done to them by the city authorities was because a group of residents filed civil suits against the Mayor and all 14 members of the City Council. The only reason the lawsuits weren't ignored was because they are of a type that would force the politicians to pay the judgments personally.

Apparently you have not or the citizens would be making that message loud and clear to their elected leaders. That is not happening so your elected leadership is setting aside the laws, refusing to protect your property, and encouraging, even supporting the destruction of your city
