Real Estate: Tenancy In Business:CA Law Meaning?
I live in the state of California. I am studying to earn my real estate license. I am on chapter 2.5 of real estate principles.
Tenancy In Business Partnership. It reads the following:
"Real Estate Characteristics for Tenancy In Business Partnership:
3.Partner's right in the partnership property is not subject to attachment or execution except on a claim against the partnership. What does this mean in simple terms? The text book does not explain this to well. Please help.
4. Partner's right the property is not assignable except in connection with the assignment of rights of all the partner's in same property. Please explain this.
Other then this I get the other 3 things in connection with the tenancy in business.

The term “illegal” is not defined in the RTA but would include a serious violation of a federal, provincial or municipal law. If the illegality is trivial or technical, the act or business or occupation might not be considered serious enough to warrant eviction.
