Does anyone know how to remove paint from fabric?

Okay so I have a Moresca cloak, which is a pretty heavy cotton fabric and it's dark colored. But I got it and it's got latex house paint splattered on it. How do I get all the paint out without ruining the color or the fabric?

The paint is dry and some paint solvents have gotten some of it out without wrecking the fabric but it's a lot of area to cover. I have avoided putting it in the dryer to keep the paint from being baked into the fabric. But stains still remain, how do I fix it? This is an expensive cloak.

There are 3 common ways to remove paints from fabrics:

Method 1: Using Hairspray to spray on the affected area. Wait for a few minutes for the spray solution to take effect. Use scrube brush to remove the paints. Repeat these step for a few times if paints persist.

Method 2: Paint Thinner or Turpentine mainly used for oil based (hydrophobic) paints. Place paint thinner directly on the affected area. Scrub the area with detergent, let soak overnight, and go for laundry in the next day

Method 3: Removing with a Simple Detergent. Flush the back of the fabric with very warm water. Put in the detergent and soak it. Rinse the cloth with tap water. Repeat the cycle until paint is completely removed.

Goof Off will take latex paint off.

If the material is washable, that should take the Goof Off out (it may also just evaporate enough so it doesn't show).

Otherwise, take it to a dry cleaner. They know the proper way to get anything out of anything- and sometimes it has as much to do with skill as it does to do with knowledge. That's what I would do if it's in an obvious place.

Pour some rubbing alcohol on the paint and rub the material against itself the paint should come off.............
