Are the Apple online prices same as the apple retail stores?

Hi there I'm in Miami and I am planning to buy a Macbook pro 13 retina, now online the price is 1,299, my question is when I go in an Apple store will I pay the same 1,299 or will I have to pay some sort of tax?..

Basically Will I pay exactly $1,299 at the apple store or will I need more?

Buying directly from an Apple retail store will give you an all around better shopping experience, and they will even help you configure it free of charge. I believe that the only place that you can get it other than from Apple is from Best Buy, and it is doubtful that it will be available in Costco anytime soon, and even more doubtful that it will be significantly lower that Apple's price. If you wait a month or two, you may be able to get a refurbished one from Apple direct with the full warranty and Apple support.

The retail price in the store and on the website should be the same. However, most online purchases cost more because of shipping. If your budget is tight, and there is one near you, you should buy from the store. However, you can save lots of money online because the online store has refurbished computers available, which are actually better because they've been evaluated, and they usually cost more. If you are going to buy a new one, go to the store. You'll save about $10 - $15.

Yes prices are the same. If you're looking for better prices you may want to take a look at Apple's refurbished systems most generally come with the Apple care program as well.

The price is the same, but if you buy in store, you have to pay whatever your local tax is. If you're ordering online, you have to think about tax and/or shipping fees, depending on your state.

For example, here on Long Island (NY), I pay 8.625% as local tax, so add that to the $1299 for the cost of the Macbook, it would be $1411.04 that I would pay. If I ordered online, then I have to think about (potential) shipping fees as well, which would mean it's more.
