If a person suddenly became omniscient...?
Suppose a human being was somehow able to gain the ability of Omniscience. What would it feel like to him or her? Would it drive that person to madness?

Yes it certainly would, strange as it may seem, if as humans we had complete access to all the regions in our brain, like conscious control then we would all be omniscient. That person wouldn't be able to reach a state of complete R.E.M sleep. Deep R.E.M sleep, is so crucial for the body to continue at a balanced equilibrium.
