My laptop won't turn on?

I have a Lenovo ideapad and for some reason it won't turn on. It's fully charged, when I hit the power button it's clearly doing something. The lights are on but the screen is blank. I did the "did you try turning it off and on again" bit and I even took out the battery and wiped it down. Still nothing.

    go to safe mode by hitting control and one of the f-key that is different depending on brand.

    restore from safe mode.

    try at your own risk.

    Maybe your LCD display is the problem.
