It depends on the features each may need. For example, if one drives for a living, say Tri-State Regional Sales...the other phone goes with the spouse to work at the Hospital, 5 days per week - 8-5pm. Two completely different applications may need two differing phones.

Honestly though, my son just told me this weekend they are offering him an incentive of adding another onto his plan for only <$20.00. You can't find a decent plan for <$20.00 otherwise.

Packages should be sought unless one job requires features not normally used.

My experience in bundling internet, cablevision and phone with AT&T was a n I g h t m a r e. I have found since I separated them out? I have FAR MORE LEEWAY in getting what I want; better service; cheaper rates by KEEPING them separate.

It was one of those "school of hard knock" lessons I learned two years ago...They would have you accept their contract for a year or two at a low rate, and maybe? It's worth it to you, only to INCREASE it 20% or more ONCE that year is up...In other words? Not reasonable rate increases, BIG increases that not even the utilities are charging.

This is PRECISELY WHY you should investigate DISH, COMCAST, AT&T and VONAGE for multiple services and price it out. You'll be surprised (if you know how to play the 'game' ?) at how much better your dealing power is because ONCE THEY HAVE YOU BUNDLED? They don't seem to be as competitive in serving your needs like you may have thought...At least?

That was MY experience. I enjoy the benefits and strength of Verizon, Comcast AND AT&T and NEVER again will I bundle and become one of their "sheep" in customer servicing. That just isn't gonna happen ever again if I can help it, and?

    I CAN.
