Cant connect HDMI cable to PC?
I have tried/am trying to connect my HP Laptop to my RCA TV using a HDMI cable but it says, no signal. Any assistance would be helpful.

Most laptops will not activate the external video outputs unti you tell them to. There is usually a function key printed in blue onto the number keys or F keys to activate external monitor output. Hold down the Blue 'Fn' key near the bottom left corner & press the corresponding key with a blue screen printed on it (often just a curved rectangle). Also you could try going to the monitor settings in the windows control panel & see if any options appear there. Make sure you have the correct HDMI input selected on your TV as this will hep the auto detect/config settings of the video card.
If your TV does not have HDMI or VGA then I honestly wouldn't bother trying as it can be pretty expensive getting the right video conversion kit to make it work. A lot of adaptor cables don't have the required conversion hardware to work with a TV.
