When can I comfort my sick kitten with ringworm?
My kitten has a cold is on antibiotics and probably has ringworm. The vet gave me a sulfur bath which was an awful experience. Now he's isolated in a room by himself. He's cold and smelly and every time I go in there he just wants to cuddle and be held. I feel awful and sick and don't know what to do. I'm worried about my older cat and dog and self getting it as well. I just want to make him feel better, what can I do?

It sounds like the kitten is just in bad shape and the doctor isn't sure what she has or doesn't have. Neither colds nor ringworm are treated with antibiotics; the vet must think there is another problem too.
Cats can get "colds" like people do, but the viruses are different. You can't catch the cat's cold, and the dogs can't either. Also, cats can't catch human colds from you. (Dogs don't get "colds."
Ringworm is another matter. You can catch ringworm. The treatment is the same as for athlete's foot. You can get it at the drug store, probably even at the grocery store. Unless you get ringworm easily, you probably won't catch ringworm from her as long as you are careful to wash your hands after handling her.
Maybe it would be okay if you put a clean cloth or towel in your lap to protect you from germs while still letting her sit in your lap. Don't kiss her until she is well, an wash your hands after you handle her.
If she's been on medication for at least 24 hours, it should be pretty safe for you to handle her, but wash up after you leave. I bet she will feel better soon.
You should make sure he can keep warm; at least that he has a warm bed.

Why is he cold? Is there not heating vent in that room? You can't put a blanket in a box, cut the side of the box down so the kitten can get in and snuggle and keep warm? You can't put a heating pad on low, wrap it in a pillow case and put a throw on it and put it in there for the kitten to sleep on???????

You can comfort the kitten now. You just have to be sure you wash your hands after you touch the kitten.
