What domestic cat is closest to a wild Bob Cat?
I am curious to know which domestic cat is closest to a Robert? What I mean is, is what domestic cat LOOKS more like one? I am thinking of getting a female cat for my Tampi male (neutered). I want her to be an exotic, sexy, stunning looking female.I would rather her look like a Bob Cat, but what would you suggest I get?

The Pixiebob is the breed that looks most like a bobcat , and some people think they have bobcat ancestry. That was not found via DNA but it's possible it's due to the limitations of the test.
In any case they are either all domestic or mostly domestic, but they have been bred to look rather bobcatty.

NO domestic cats are even remotely related to the Bobcat. If you want a dog bred to LOOK somewhat like a Bobcat, though, that would be the Pixiebob. It was bred through selective breeding NOT with any Bobcat in its blood http://www.tica.org/public/breeds/pb/intro.php

Keep an eye out at your local shelter. You can find manx cats in all colors. I'm sure you could find one that is a grey tabby or solid tawny color. It is difficult to breed manx cats and predict the outcome of the litter. You will have the best luck looking in shelters an cat rescues
