Does anyone else think the Knicks should trade Melo?

This is how I see it. Their team is already doing, how do i put this...terrible. Melo is going to leave in free agency anyway, so I think that before the deadline they should trade him to try and get something good for the future, instead of just seeing him go in free agency and getting nothing in return. Even if it effects the team for this season and makes them worse, don't you think they're still gonna do bad anyway if they didn't trade him? I wanna see what you guys have to say. (Just saying this is coming from a Knicks fan myself)

I do, Melo is not a team player at all. Most winning franchises have a cohesive unit on the floor, Melo is basically just a ballhogging shooter who plays zero defense, this is not a recipe for championships.

The Knicks plans to move on & decides to trade Melo, then they should get a good return who is also a star or 3 good players who are 6th Man caliber. But the fact is Melo IS a scoring machine but the bad thing about him is that doesn't play defense & he doesn't act like a leader since he's a team captain. If Melo wants to resign with the Knicks, LOL good luck winning a ring along with injured prone Stoudemire & Chandler.

He has been in the NBA since 2003 & the only thing he has won, is 6x All Stars,3 Olympics Gold Medals & last season he won his first Scoring Title & he hasn't still been in the NBA Finals.

They probably should, because who wants to stay in the New York with their knack for overpaying people. But, because they are the Knicks, they will never trade a superstar.
