My mom wont let me buy more clothes?
An online clothing sale ends in an hour and my mom has stormed away from me again and again i am crying. This has happened before. I love fashion/clothes. I am fifteen and still trying to figure out my passion my talent or what im good at/what makes me shine and feel happy. One thing that makes me feel happy and sort of like a passion and a way of expression is clothes. My mom thinks i have enough clothes. I have enough clothes yes to survive, but the part of me that is excited to be creative and express myself through fashion dies a little when she tells me that i cant buy more clothes (even with my own money) i have a certain pile of clothes i am holding on different sites cuz i dream of different outfits that i can put together and different looks i want to get across to people. Clothes inspire me, give me confidence, and just make me feel like something other than nothing. My mom doesnt understand. Or am i wrong or being too greedy?

You are young, immature, and inexperienced.
It's good to be creative, but not at the expense of being practical.
You say you're willing to buy all the clothes with your own money, but it simply isn't right to spend all one's money on clothes.
Yes, you are being too greedy.

This is always the sitch. Teens have undying passion but the parents are only focused on money. They forget how it is to be 15 and full of life and passion and to be truly alive. Dont get into it w ur mom tho. She unfortunately is in charge of you at this moment in time. Even if you dont get the clothes from the online sale this time, no one can steal your passion. Also here is my advice - get a sewing machine (new or used) and learn how to sew. You can re-purpose many items and add unique touches to you existing stuff. Also consign your old good stuff at a nice used clothing store. Then you can either get cash or credit for new stuff. I would write you mom a nice note detailing your passion for clothes and fashion and explain your new plan. She should be so blown away w ur newfound maturity that she will prob buy you a sewing machine. Trust me take a sewing class. If you are truly a fashionista then you have to master the sewing thing. Like on project runway and stuff. Good luck!!!!

It's good that you want to express yourself but, not at the expense of having your mother go broke. If you have enough clothes to survive you really need to thank your mom not give her a hard time. Try and not be so selfish. Fashion is not a necessity to live a healthy life.

You're being a little immature by the sound of it but if you really want more clothes, meet your mother halfway. Offer to give an old article of clothing away for every new article of clothing you buy. Or say that for every article of clothing you buy, you'll do a household chore for her. Or maybe ask her to buy material so you can sew your own garments, if you want to be that creative. Then tell her you'll make her something if she buys you a sewing machine.
Sometimes you have to give in order to get, ya know.
