Why am I so terribly shy?
I am so incredibly shy. I've always been shy but in middle school I wasn't that shy I could talk to girls even girls I liked. Now throughout high school I'm very very shy. Not around my friends. When it comes to talking to girls especially I'm shy. Especially if it's a pretty girl or a girl I like. I become very dull because for some reason I can't force myself to have a normal conversation or talk with enthusiasm I'm just too shy. Also certain adults I'm too shy to have a normal conversation with I don't know why...it really bothers me. I literally can't force myself to shake off being shy I've tried. I also worry about saying stupid things or awkward things if I try to be funny around someone I'm shy around so I don't put myself out there because I'm too anxious and shy and I just want to know if anybody else has this and knows why.

I used to be exactly like you and let my shyness take over me. I couldn't have normal conversations and always was scared of saying the wrong things. I didn't want people to judge me or not accept me and I tried so hard to not be shy. But trust me stop trying, it will naturally come one day you wont care. Don't worry just go with the flow. I liked this guy so much and tried so hard to force myself to get out my comfort zone. Until one day i realized that i don't have to be shy, it just wastes your time and relationships you could be starting, I don't have to force myself anymore.
