what are the baby play yard things?
0k its not a play yard/ play pen. Its like one of those. But it has gate like things that connect and you can make it bigger or smaller . The child can play in the whole area.

They are called play pens here in New Zealand.
The best one in my opinion are wooden ones.

That's still a play yard.
Where I live these are actually only sold for rabbits and similar pets, I know because we tried to find one for my son (who is considerably bigger than a rabbit!) and ended up having to build something ourselves.

It's called a Super-yard. The fence type thing that kids play in but it's just a fence no mat attached.
