YES in my opinion any device that has a screen needs a protector because if it gets scratched bad then it costs a good amount of money to replace the screen. You can get Protectors from amazon.co.uk for a good price but still reliable to use, I use them on my phone and tablet.

Well it is always better to have one than not you can get 3 for about $1 on eBay and I think $1 is a better deal than a scratched screen

Yaa, it is scratch proof as it have Gorilla Glass 3 but sometimes we use the screen very harshly by mistake so in that case it will be good to purchase a screen guard as precautions are better that cure.

And do not worry its good to have a screen guard as it will make your heart satisfied. ;)
