Does Hell have a revolving door or something?

I'm serious here. After loosing the war with St. Michael, the Devil was cast down into Hell, with all his deamon followers.

But apparently deamons can come and go from Hell. The Devil appears to Jesus in the desert to tempt Him. Devils tempt people on Earth, sometimes even posses people on Earth. When Jesus casts the devils that call themselves "Legion" out they beg Him not to send them back to Hell, so He sends them into the herd of swine. What the heck is up with that?

So, I don't want to sound snarky, but does Hell have a really bad security system or something? I assume that this condition is only temporary, and that after the end of the Universe, the deamons will be stuck there for all eternity, but is there any biblical explanation for this?

Demons are not yet n hell, but know they will end up there.and the demons did NOT beg Jesus to not send them back there.

In that passage it states Mat 8:29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”

Where do you get the idea that Michael cast Satan into Hell already?

From what I can tell, Satan still has access to Heaven. In Revelation 12 Michael casts Satan to Earth. Then, after the latter half of the Great Tribulation, Satan is bound for a thousand years. Then, he is let loose for a time. Then, he is cast into the Lake of Fire. I don't know that Satan has ever gone to Hell.

He was NOT cast down into Hell. Lucifer doesn't live in hell, where do people get that from? He was cast down to the EARTH with the angels who followed him.

There are fallen angels who live in the bottomless pit but Lucifer is not one of them. Abaddon (Apollyon) lives there.

    Revelation 12:7-10

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Satan is not in hell YET!

    1. ISLAMIC WAR against Israel led by RUSSIA and her coalition of Islamic armies. These countries are listed in Ezekiel 38:1-6; 39:1-12 (Persia which is Iran, Libya, Ethiopia which includes Suddan, Nigeria etc. Germany and all the Arab Spring countries) describes that war where millions intend to attack Israel BUT GOD intervenes and kills all but 1/6th of them. Revelation 14:20 describes the place of battle as being filled with blood up to the horses' bridles for 184 miles. This war happens at the beginning of the TRIBULATION, Even now Russian warships are off the coasts of Israel and Syria. What is interesting to note is many are on foot or horseback. An EM Pulse has set back their electronics perhaps? Revelation definetly says the carrion birds glut themselves on horseflesh as well as the flesh of men.

    WATCH THE HEADLINES!

    2. The 6th Trumpet releases the 4 fallen angels held in the River Euphrates and they lead a 200 Million DEMONIC army from the Bottomless Pit that kills one third of mankind. See: Revelation 9:13-18 http://www.armageddonangelsufos.com/

    3. UNIVERSAL WAR: Armageddon where ALL (including the kings of the Each which includes China) nations are represented, LED BY THE ANTICHRIST go against Israel and Jesus the King of Kings. ALL of this army is destroyed. Zechariah 14:2-16. Jesus and His saints then rule forever.

Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague with which Jehovah will strike all the peoples who have fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh shall rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes shall rot in their sockets. And their tongue shall rot in their mouth. (sounds like the scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark)

Zec 14:13 And it shall be in that day a great panic of Jehovah shall be among them And they shall each one lay hold of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

At the end of this war Satan is chained in the Bottomless Pit for 1000 years.

    4. THE LAST WAR: is at the end of the Millennial reign of Christ. It will be led by Satan who was loosed for a time to gather all rebels against the saints of GOD. They are deestroyed by fire from Heaven and Satan is thrown into the Lake of Fire where the Antichrist and False Prophet are. This is when the Earth is cleansed by fire while all earth inhabitants are at the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT, either those on trial or as witnesses. Those in their natural bodies who have survied the last war will be in the audience.

At this time all the great oceans will be dried up. There will still be inland seas, lakes and rivers. We will then have the New Heavens and New Earth. The New Jerusalem will be on Earth and GOD will dwell with men. The New Jerusalem will be 1500 miles high, long and wide with plenty of room for all the people of God from Adam to the present time. http://www.armageddonangelsufos.com/

Why would GOD allow the slaughter of these wars to occur? It is justice to cleanse the world of sin and hatred. If no one is ever held accountable for their actions then life would have no meaning.

See Daniel chapters 8 and 11 to see where the Antichrist comes from.

fallen angels and demons are still loose except for those demons who have been cast out and fallen angels who committed the sins mentioned in Jude.

Hell / Hades /She'ol is MAN'S grave...what Satan was cast into was the " lake of fire" symbol for complete destruction...

    two different things...

(Revelation 20:10) And the Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [already were]; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

When Jehovah eliminates death, so too will Hell / Hades /She'ol be eliminated...

Source(s): (Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Yes, demons can be killed, which means they are sent back to hell, and can then come back to Earth. There is a great documentary on the subject called "Hellboy".

Satan was cast down to the earth, not inside the earth. And yes as Revelation 12:12 states Satan has a SHORT period left here on earth. Soon God will do away with him and the wicked. Psalms 37:9-11

    HELL

Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all . . . All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol,* the place to which you are going.” (If they are conscious of nothing, they obviously feel no pain.) Does the Bible indicate that the soul survives the death of the body? Ezek. 18:4: “The soul* that is sinning—it itself will die.” The soul is our fleshly body...Acts 2:25-27, KJ: “David speaketh concerning him [Jesus Christ], . . . Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell,* neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” (The fact that God did not “leave” Jesus in hell implies that Jesus was in hell, or Hades, at least for a time, does it not?) Hell is simply the common grave of mankind. God is not so unloving that he would torture his disobedient children for eternity.. rather, where did Adam and Eve go when they died? They RETURNED to the dust! They Returned to non-existing. 2 Thess. 1:9, RS: “They shall suffer the punishment of eternal destruction* and exclusion from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.” Jer. 7:31: “They [apostate Judeans] have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart.” (If it never came into God’s heart, surely he does not have and use such a thing on a larger scale.)

Illustration: What would you think of a parent who held his child’s hand over a fire to punish the child for wrongdoing? “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) Would he do what no right-minded human parent would do? Certainly not!

What is the ‘fiery Gehenna’ to which Jesus referred? Historical background: The Valley of Hinnom (Gehenna) was outside the walls of Jerusalem. For a time it was the site of idolatrous worship, including child sacrifice. In the first century Gehenna was being used as the incinerator for the filth of Jerusalem. Bodies of dead animals were thrown into the valley to be consumed in the fires, to which sulfur, or brimstone, was added to assist the burning. Also bodies of executed criminals, who were considered undeserving of burial in a memorial tomb, were thrown into Gehenna. Thus, at Matthew 5:29, 30, Jesus spoke of the casting of one’s “whole body” into Gehenna. If the body fell into the constantly burning fire it was consumed, but if it landed on a ledge of the deep ravine its putrefying flesh became infested with the ever-present worms, or maggots. (Mark 9:47, 48) Living humans were not pitched into Gehenna; so it was not a place of conscious torment.

At Matthew 10:28, Jesus warned his hearers to “be in fear of him that can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.” What does it mean? Notice that there is no mention here of torment in the fires of Gehenna; rather, he says to ‘fear him that can destroy in Gehenna.’ By referring to the “soul” separately, Jesus here emphasizes that God can destroy all of a person’s life prospects; thus there is no hope of resurrection for him. So, the references to the ‘fiery Gehenna’ have the same meaning as ‘the lake of fire’ of Revelation 21:8, namely, destruction, “second death.”

Psalm 146:4 says that when a man dies, “his thoughts do perish.” We are mortal and do not survive the death of our body. The life we enjoy is like the flame of a candle. When the flame is put out, it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone. Jesus Christ spoke about the condition of the dead. He did so with regard to Lazarus, a man whom he knew well and who had died. Jesus told his disciples: “Lazarus our friend has gone to rest.” The disciples thought that Jesus meant that Lazarus was resting in sleep, recovering from an illness. They were wrong. Jesus explained: “Lazarus has died.” (John 11:11-14) Notice that Jesus compared death to rest and sleep. Lazarus was neither in heaven nor in a burning hell. He was not meeting angels or ancestors. Lazarus was not being reborn as another human. He was at rest in death, as though in a deep sleep without dreams. Other scriptures also compare death to sleep. For example, when the disciple Stephen was stoned to death, the Bible says that he “fell asleep.” (Acts 7:60)
