Does anyone here have a tablet?

If you have one, do you like it? Is it easy to use? Do you recommend that I should buy one?

If you should buy one, that's a question that only you can answer. It depends on your budget first and then your needs. It is and will remain a luxury product.

Yes, any tablet is easy to use. But like with any technical product, there's always a bit of a learning curve to go through. Tablets are made and designed to be user friendly so the learning curve is a lot less steep than with a computer or laptop for example.

And yes, I have a Google Nexus 10. I can highly recommend it, but just like any other tablet, it's got its pro's and cons and it's not perfect for everyone. That's why they sell different models, different sizes, different operating systems, different processors, different display resolutions, different storage sizes and so on.

If you want to find out which tablet is right for you, you go to a store and try a few. If you have money to blow, you can buy a few and see which one works best for you. If you are on a budget, read up on them, go through reviews of different models and narrow down your choices, then go out and try a few and pick what feels best to you and your pocket.

I don't own one, but my parents do. It's the most convenient device for some use cases. It's easy to just pick up and do things with. You can grab it and watch youtube videos for a few minutes, quickly check your mail, have a video conversation with family, stuff like that.

Don't think of it like an alternative for laptops/desktops. You can write a 10 page essay on a tablet, but it'll be a lot faster and easier on a laptop/desktop. Generally speaking, the tablet is incredibly useful for small, quick tasks. If you're serious about any kind of task (gaming, writing documents, managing your email account, creating videos, etc), then a laptop/desktop would be more useful. Laptops/desktops are bigger and take longer to startup, but they are more efficient in the things they do.

Whether you should buy a tablet depends on what you want to do. A tablet is easy to use, quick to use, small, lightweight, but slightly inefficient for doing certain serious tasks as mentioned before. If you'd like an electronic device with these properties, get a tablet. If you don't care for these things, don't.

    Hope this helps.

I own a tablet and it is only the best for games and entertainment, depends.

I don't recommend it to you if you often use Microsoft Word and documents and stuffs like that.

Btw, I don't really like my tablet. I love it for a few months after buying it but now it is a little useless.
