Help on female proportions?
I just want some help on the female form, criticism and help welcome. My problem is mainly the lower half of the body i just cant get legs down for some reason, to me they feel odd and unproportional.

It will help you to learn some anatomy. Look at female skeletons and learn the different muscle groups. Note how the hips/pelvis/legs are connected. When you learn how the body moves, drawing it will make more sense. I also wanted to add that the breasts on your drawing are slightly off. The don't start in the armpit, but rather hang off of the chest. This tutorial is pretty accurate and has some good info for drawing the hips as well. http://imgur.com/gallery/lFhuI

The main issue is that it doesn't look like you started with construction. Construction is the use of forms to build a human body so it looks proportional and dimensional. What would help most with your legs is drawing the hip box and then attaching the legs correctly (which has a lot to do with anatomy) from there. Check out this site ( http://www.drawsh.com/search/label/Construction )--I use it for pretty much all my figure drawing needs. Also look into life drawing and anatomy books for artists, they're great resources. Good luck! (:

thy/upper leg smaller.Area where the under ware are (hips)bigger .Not cartoonishly big.Think hourglass.
