If you aren't too fussy about 'style'...take a look at the Monoprice 8323 it isn't the most comfortable headphone either...it sounds pretty good though and has interchangeable/detachable leads...
I like the Sony headphone range and the MDR ZX100 is popular among the masses looking for a budget 'can'....the MDR ZX300 is really good too.
I don't use in-ear headphones much so can't really comment...check You Tube and Amazon for reviews on the headphones i've mentioned - they get great reviews.
