What does contouring do to your face other then slimming it? I mean i know it is suppose to slim your face and everything but i hear it lifts cheekbones or something. Does contouring make your cheeks chubbier and rounder? I am trying to make my cheeks look rounder.
What else does contouring your cheeks do? I'm not gonna be highlighting. Just contouring my cheeks. I don't think i will be doing my temples and forehead since the bronzer i will be using is pretty light and natural and i don't want my face to look like skinny kim kardashian

Contouring provides shadow while highlighting provides...well highlights. Highlights will bring the feature out whereas contouring will make it protrude and create shading. So if you put a high contour on your cheeks your cheeks will look higher, if you contour your nose it'll look slimmer, contouring can do anything and give you any features you want it to. The best way to learn is to just practise yourself. You'll learn what ways to shade and contour your face will work for you. Youtube some makeup tutorials if you need more help.

contouring emphasizes angles really. contouring for sure won't make it any rounder... it will be the opposite! i think highlighting will your cheeks stand out more and perhaps putting a bit more blush on it.
