Way around giving credit card info for google wallet signup?
I got a google play card to buy apps, but to use it I have to get a google wallet account, and to sign up for that, I have to give my credit card information. Is there a way around that? I thought the whole point of these cards are so you don't have to use a credit card.

There's no way around giving the credit card information to Google Wallet if you plan on using their mobile payment opportunities. It's similar to PayPal in that your credit card information is given to PayPal so that anytime you pay for a purchase using PayPal, they already have your credit card account information. If you don't wish to give Google Wallet the credit card information, you won't be able to use their mobile service payment/shopping plan.

I don't think you need a credit card, all you need is a Google account, try going to https://play.google.com/store?code
