Any tips on getting an artificial tree back in its original container?

It seems to a lot bigger than when it came out. I tried to squish it into the box but it is still too big. I can't get the tree stand back into the box. I wonder how they do it at the factory?

At the factory, the branches have not been fluffed out, so it fits nicely into its box.

Start by straightening all the branches and squeezing them down onto the main branch, almost like you were wringing out a sweater. That always helps me get it back into the box. I needed, wrap or tie the tree to make it as narrow a package as possible before putting back in the box.

Robots probably pack it. What I do was dismantle then put the trunk, then start with the long limbs, then work my way up with the shortest branches in last, then the base, after seems like there is a bulge in the box so I duct tape it shut.

We all have that problem. You might have to use a different container. Garbage bag, different box.
