The Department of Veterans Affairs in the USA has a listing of acceptable emblems of faith which may be added to veterans markers (most recently a pentacle for Wicca and the Hammer of Thor).

Whilst hardly an all-inclusive listing of religious faiths (and an argument that the VA should get out of the "approved" religion business), there are many there with pictures, linked below.

Judaism:

The Shield of David and the chamsah (hand) are NOT religious symbols.

The menorah (7 branch candelabra) is the symbol of Judaism.
