Book Publishing Companies in South Florida?
I'm trying to find book publishers and book publishing houses in South Florida. Including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, etc. It can be a individual publishing company or a branch of a publishing company located in a bigger city like New York or Chicago.
Sorry I was a little too vague. I'm not looking to send a manuscript, I want to work at a publishing company and I live in South Florida. So, that is why I'm asking.
Thanks for the info on the branches, I guess you are right... i just thought that the HUGE publishing companies might want to have branches in order to work closer with authors from different parts of the country.

Why?
Publishing has never been a "local" business. Traditionally, it's been centered in New York, and there is NO REASON for them to have a branch office. What would it do?
So, do your research, and figure out which publishing house you want to send your manuscript to. Everything is done by e-mail. It has been for years, and it works quite well.

If you think your book is complete crap and no publisher would ever touch it you can self publish it!
