If the Lions don't FIRE Gym Shorts by tomorrow morning and he comes back for the 6th season, I'm DONE?
If Schwartz is back , I REFUSE to follow the Lions, because all that tells me is that the owner cares more about saving a few $$$ than winning games. I refuse to invest my time & money at such mockery . He better be gone when I wake up.......

I'll give you a little hint about the Ford family.....it has ALWAYS been about the money and NEVER been about the wins. 50+ years of futility ought to be a clue for Lions fans, when they wasted the Barry Sanders led years they lost me as a paying customer. Sanders, Herman Moore, Spielman, Lomas Brown, Kevin Glover and a host of other very talented guys got pissed away because Ford refused to pay for good coaching and talent to build around a host of top football players. Depends on which rumor you hear but right now some pretty smart football insiders are suggesting Schwartz will return next year, he would be owed 2 years and around $16 mill. (go figure, guy wins 10 games once and gets rewarded like he is one of the all time greats) and now Ford doesn't want to pay a new head coach plus the buyout. Others are saying they will gut the coaching staff AND front office, I don't believe that will happen. Mayhew will return, he will pick the "best available" with no regard for the fact it might not be a position of need or the guy even fits the scheme the coaches run. That is why when you look at all the combined Mayhew led drafts they look no better than the Millen ones. You and I can pick Megatron with the 2nd pick, we could agree Suh was the best at his spot but wouldn't it be nice if Martin actually found productive players in other rounds. He trades UP to take guys with major injury histories or character issues (Levy, Broyles, etc.) when other teams are avoiding those guys because of the risk. Guess you are done if you are worried Ford might make a mockery of this franchise, he has a 50 year track record for such antics. One playoff win in 50 years?
