snowboard regular or goofy?
i have played soccer for 11 years and to start out i was right footed until I injured my right knee then i became left footed. as a small child I remember riding a skate board goofy but im 16 now and that was probably 5 years ago. i want to go regular because i still feel l have more finesse when passing the ball in soccer (you can tell ive thought about this ALOT). using my right foot as my plant foot is also more comfortable. so basically what im getting at is that im afraid that if i become goofy my left foot would not have the control that my right foot does when making my tail spin. but if i were to become regular then i would be dependent on leaning on my right foot (being my back foot in the regular position) which would make me fall from leaning backwards too much. And the last thought i had was that i should go goody and instead of using my left foot to control a tail spin i should just use my upper body, hands, and knees more or less along with my eyes.
you can tell i have thought about this a lot and i want to go snowboarding soon so the answers would be great

It is a good skill to have to be comfortable both ways. You should try to test where you stand with your feet together and lean on someone forward so they are keeping you up, close your eyes and they let you go whenever they want. Which foot you step with tells you whether you are goofy or regular. (stepping with right foot=goofy)

Ride a skateboard and try both regular and goofy. Which ever feels more comfortable and more in control is the way you should ride.

when you go snowboarding try both and see which is more comfortable. Some people are equally good at both
