Mother board question?
I am dead set on getting the AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ processor for the new pc I am building. I also want the AMD R9 290 graphics card. The graphics card supports PCI express 3.0 socket, and I cannot for the life of me find a mother board that supports that processor and has a pci express 3.0 port. Can anyone find one that does? If not should I just get a board that supports teh 2.0? Is there a big difference in speed loss if I do this?

Hi mate,
If u r using fx 8350 then the best choice of mobo is msi 990fxa gd 80.SOMEONE IS GOING TO SUGGEST to get a intel processor but amd is cheaper so get a fx 4130 if u wish and pcie 3.0 works perfectly with pcie 2.0.NO Problemo. Good luck.

You do not really need pci 3.0 slot on motherboard.
