how to politely ask friends to split my birthday bottle service?

Hello, my birthday is coming up and ill be 23, im a dude (if this helps with the question lol)

I plan to have a bottle service, maybe runs up to $1000, which runs a little high for my wallet. I wouldn't mind paying for all of it, but hey it's my birthday, maybe i should be treated. Im inviting a lot of my friends to come and celebrate with me at the club.

is it really appropriate to ask my friends to chip in for the bottle service? any suggestions?

Don't plan something you can't afford.

Either invite guests or don't. Either offer the guests the most expensive stuff you can afford, or offer them what you're willing to pay for.

Do NOT ask GUESTS to subsidize your desire for a richer time than you can afford. The POINT should be to enjoy a celebration with people you like, who want to celebrate with you.

    It's really INappropriate.

IF someone offers, you are allowed to accept after a couple of rounds of "No, I couldn't ask."

No. If you want bottle service, plan to pay for it yourself. If your friends want to contribute they will, but it would be rude to ask or expect them to.

Your party, your booze, your responsibility.

You don't decided to throw yourself a party and ask your friends to pay for it.

If you can't afford it, don't do it.

    Rude!

If you are throwing your own party then YOU pay for it.

If your friends throw you a party then THEY pay for it.
