For serious martial artist?

I am looking for topics to research for my webpage. It is meant mostly for Karateka but I think anyone serious in Martial arts might find it useful. It usually takes me a month to write articles as I do not want them opinion based but rather want everything to be backed up by academic articles. Right now I am looking for my next topic.

One suggestion I have gotten which I am working on is the anatomical problems with the round house kick (figure it had to do with the last UFC fight) not too much has been written on it so am in a block while I find the modeling for it.

You have a decent mixture of articles on your site.

My suggestions would be articles on:

    1. terminology.

    2. training methods - bunkai, hojo undo, kata, jimi undo, etc

    3. body conditioning

    4. descriptions of various forms of martial arts - give a summary of the organizations, and what makes them different and similar. For instance an article on the 4 big Okinawan karate styles

    5. The differences between Japanese and Okiniwan karate

    6. What TMAs can learn from MMA and what MMA should learn from TMAs

    7. traditional training tools and how to make them inexpensively

    8. diet and it's relationship to training

    9. the body, mind and spirt and their relationship to martial arts

    10. martial arts and their place in modern society

    11. legal concerns for martial artists

(also feel free to private message me if you like)

Now, when you say "anatomical problems with the roundhouse kick"...are you referring to the technique itself or what people generally do that may be considered wrong?
