What do with my Dad? He's confused...?
Last Thursday, he tried to access his Wells Fargo bank account online.
We went to the bank to get it re set. He forgot to bring ID. He always brings ID to the bank, of course to verify.
He says "I'm confused." at LEAST 40 times or some variation of it!
He came home and could not open the garage door after doing it for more than 10 years with the remote function on the car.
He couldn't find his AMEX after I asked him "Where is the credit card?"
He scooped rice out of the rice cooker, but couldn't find a bowl to put the rice in.
He admitted to giving loads of money to his mistress/girlfriend.
He has thoughts of homicide for her and her group.
I know I have to take him to see the doctor. I'm trying to get help from my sister. But how? Is this dementia? Alzheimer's? schizophrenia?

Are you sure he isn't under the influence of some kind of drug? He needs to see a doctor immediately for testing. He could have had a small stroke or some other medical issue that is causing these symptoms. If they aren't reversible you need to get fiduciary power of attorney to protect his assets.
