I need some makeup suggestions?
So I'm awful at makeup, and my mom bought me a $50 dollar gift card to Sephora so, I need some suggestions.
I'm mainly looking for a good foundation, mascara, liquid eyeliner, eyeshadow and concealer.
I have hazel eyes if this helps for the eyeshadow, definitely more green than brown.
And I really love the look of full, thick, and long eyelashes if that helps for the mascara! (No fake eyelashes please.)
I'd prefer the foundation to be a brand name from Sephora since I've had problems with EVERY brand I've tried in the drugstore (I'm really pale and none match my skin tone or cover nicely). I like full coverage when it comes to foundation.
But if you like any mascara or anything from a drugstore I'll take those suggestions too! Just no foundation please.

so since you want high end foundation, the 50 dollar gift card you have can help you buy that from sephora. you can ask the ladies at the store to help you find the right kind and color for you. you can even ask them for a sample to bring home and try before you commit to a higher end foundation because they can be quite pricey. For everything else, unless you want to spend over 100 at sephora, i would recommend checking out the drug store. I love the mabelline mascara that has two ends one for upper lashes and one for lower, the line stiletto is a pretty good liquid liner, i like the rimmel match perfection concealer for under eyes and the wet and wild eyeshadows are inexpensive and very pigmented or nix eyeshadows are really nice as well, i would recommend the neutrals palette with the 6 neutral colors.

Full Coverage: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Mascara: Lancome Hypnose but my favorite is Cover Girl Lash Blast (orange tube) I think it's better than anything high end I've tried and makes my lashes super thick and long but recommend using an eyelash curler so the effect stays:)
I don't like any of the liquid liners drugstore or high end so no recommendation there:( However Lancome Le Stylo pencil is the best in wear and pigment and does not smudge MAC paint pot is good too.
Eyeshadow: MAC is the best in wear and pigment and they have so much variety when it comes to colors.
Concealer: Make Up Forever Full coverage concealer or MAC Prep & Prime or MAC Studio Fix Concealer. Drugstore concealer that is just as good Maybelline Instant Age Rewind and Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer (this one highlights as well).

Hey girl!
For your eyes u want earth tones with slight hints of gold, taupe colors, mocha browns, and lavender-purple shades, they'll make your eye pop! Try from Urban Decay Naked 1 or Laura Mercier The Artists Palette
Some mascara's that i love are Maybelline Rocket mascara,Maybelline One by One mascara,Rimmel london scandel eyes and Lancome hypnose star ! For fuller lash effect i use 2 mascara's..one for volume : Lancome Hypnose star..and another for length : Maybelline Colossal Volume express! So u can try that out..
I love Lancome Artliner ! Or you can try Stila liquid eyeliner too !
For foundation, you want a full coverage foundation, it'll be evident that you are wearing a full coverage foundation because these formulations can look and sometimes feel heavy on the skin. When using a true full coverage foundation, you also want to make sure that you use a powder that will not add any significant weight to the finish. So u can use MAC's Blotting powder ! Try Makeup Forever HD foundation,Kat Von D,Estée Lauder Double wear ! Hope i helped ;) xo

From sephora, you can get these small pallets of eyeshadow, i loveloveloooove them and they are really good and long lasting! And they are not overpriced aswell! I really think it depends on your style, but i have green-brownish eyes(mostly green) and i think it look really good with a black or dark brown smokey eye.
For hazel eyes, colors like green, bronze, gold, brown, blue, purple and silver works really good!
If you look for a good eyeliner, i would love to suggest a cream/gel eyeliner i got from my local sephora store, it's from the brand "Make Up Forever" in pitch black and it's waterproof, and for the liner, i use the angled Sephora eyeliner nr. 15, it's really easy to control when you get to learn it and it make the perfect cat-eyes!
I have never bought any mascaras from Sephora(yet!) but if you are willing to pay it, i would recommend the Diorshow mascara, it really catches all your eyelashes and make them all visible and beautiful!
Also the Dior Iconic Overcurl, it curls your lashes very well, make them super long and make your eyelashes really visible, but both of the Diors have their price too. They are really expensive, and might not be worth that much money!
But really, Sephora has lots of awesome things for a not-too-expensive price!

Your $50 won't go far at Sephora. I love powder foundations, and Smashbox and NARS make good ones.

Go to Sephora and visit the makeup counter. They will do your makeup for you while you are there and you will be able to see first hand what works for you. Plus it's fun and they will teach you how to make the most of your makeup for your face and skin type etc.
