Please, I asked a question pertaining My Dell with Windows Vista?

Something happened and I lost all of my Writings and could not get into change programs and would have to log in a Windows pass word This was a used Computer and the lady moved away to California, I called and she did not know any pass word as some one else set it up with for her. I tried hard to correct the problem then went here to Answers. I have read all the answers, and believe them to be really good but some of you had some difficulties with the methods. Then after hours and a few thoughts later, I went into Safe mode and tried all of them. It was when I tries and tried I ended up in the restore mode and reset my computer to an earlier date when I know the computer was good!!!!!! The Good news is, It worked!!!!!! WHOOPIE!! I regained being the Administrator, and got back into where I can do everything. I am a Writer and had many of my stories,Songs, Poems and my New book on this. and every thing was still there. It was the easiest thing of all. Nothing else did work but, It was just like I hit the Lottery again! Thank You all for your efforts and I shall pick one of your answers as the best, Gene Again Thank You ALL!
