Anyone feeling good about team USA for hockey medal?

I think it's always a pick 'em thing. Anyone of these teams can win it or get a medal. It all depends on the goaltending and how the boys learn to play with one another the quickest. Awesome tourney be it the juniors or the Olys!!

I think the women's team looks good for gold or silver. They have a good shot considering Canada has fallen apart the last four years. The men could also make a go at it. They wear really close to gold in 2010. I see them wanting redemption. I don't think Russia is as good as everyone thinks they are. I see Canada or the US on top again. However, it would be bittersweet if the US won. While it would be awesome it would also be kind of sad because the last time they won was so special. No one expected them to beat the Soviet Union or Sweden for the Gold. Plus it was the last time NHL players were not allowed to participate. Kind of cool.

I think the US will win a medal. Other than at the goalie position I do think Canada is much stronger. I'm not sold on Russia beyond a couple great players they have. They also lack goaltending. That said, since the Olympics are in Russia, look for them to be really strong.

If you mean "thinking they will get a medal" by "feeling good" then yes, but it will be as much as silver because either Canada wins it or the hosting team Russia.

I wish Germany could get a medal but they'd need to friggin qualify first.

The Americans have a good enough team that they should receive a medal.

I wouldn't "bet the farm" on the U S winning the gold medal in Sochi... Stop back here in February after the games so we can watch you cry in your beer... Cheers from Canada
