How do I turn on the auto correct feature on my Galaxy Tab 3?

I've gone through the keyboard settings and I've checked everything. I see where it will give me suggestions at the top of the keyboard, but I have to manually tap the suggestions and that's not what I'm looking for. I tend to fly through emails and other things when I type, and I'd like to have the feature where it will correct me automatically if I make a mistake. I don't care for Apple products, but I do enjoy how that feature is standard on the iPhone, and I could have sworn I've seen this on Galaxy products. Am I mistaken? Can someone tell me how to enable this if there's a way to? It's a 7" Galaxy tab 3.

There isn't an auto-correct feature on Android as such; as you type it will try and predict the word/next word on the black bar above the keyboard.

    Hope this helps.
