What could have been wrong with my leg?

So I had some swelling in my inner calf a bruise on my inner thigh and a weird line that connected the bruise to the red swollen area on my calf. Obviously the first thing I thought was blood clot because I was video games pretty often which I sit for a few hours. So I went to the hospital has it looked at the doctor took some blood and came told me its not a clot so I went home and couldn't get over it so I went to another hospital and this time they took blood and did an ultrasound of my legs and again the said it's not a blood clot. Well the swelling went away in less than 2 weeks and the bruise went away in around 3. This was months ago and I've had no problems since. But I do still get a weird feeling in the parts of the leg that was affected not a pain but just like something is there its hard to explain. So I figured from the swelling my have pushed the vein or may have damaged it and that's what I'm feeling idk it's any bodies guess. DO you believe it wasn't a clot?

It was not a clot. Clots take longer to resolve, they rarely resolve on their own, and they would have probably went to your lungs causing shortness of breath and pain. The truth of the matter is it was probably either a hematoma causing the bruising and the other problems were secondary or like Jesper said, you had phlebitis (not thrombophlebitis) which is an inflammation of the vein and can cause a majority of those issues. It also probably was a combination of all of them. But it was not likely a clot.

From your description, I would say that rather than a clot it could be inflammation of a vein. The bruise could either be the start ie you banged your leg causing a bruise and then subsequently the vessel nearby became inflammed or when a vessel becomes inflammed it can be more fragile and cause blood to leak into the surrounding tissue. Look up phlebitis :-)
