Can I wear lenses of a larger base curve?
I have 8.4 curve eyes and I'm looking to buy a pair of lenses from a website. The only ones they have available, however, are 8.6 base curves.
I heard its okay to wear them when they're 1/10th either way (8.3 and 8.4) as long as they arent sliding around and hurting your eye, but would 2/10ths be pushing it too much?
If it helps I am in the U.S. And I do use Acuvue Oasis lenses c:
And I meant colored lenses from an FDA approved website. Not regular contacts. Sorry for not mentioning that! :c

It is impossible to say for sure. If you were in the US or Canada, I'd tell you that it was not legal to buy lenses that you have not been prescribed. You could have been fit in 8.4 lenses because your corneas are very steep or you could have been fit in them because whoever fit them liked Acuvue Oasys lenses. The good thing about going flatter (higher number for BC) is that most of the problems you are likely to have will likely result in problems almost right away.
Your prescription includes power, base curve, diameter and brand. It is illegal in the US to sell contacts, even those without power, without a valid prescription.
