Is it easy to live in a flat on job seekers?

are you basically left with not a penny or do you have some to spare after the bills?

i have furniture and don't waste money on flashy clothes/games/phones.

JSA gives you barely enough to live on. If you were in a small flat which was regarded as just large enough for you, you might get most of the rent and council tax paid through Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. Then you might just manage to scrape by. Don't expect to have anything left after you pay the bills and feed yourself on cheap food.

It will be impossible to live in a flat on Jobseekers Allowance alone. You won't even be able to afford the rent on JSA.

You'll have very little, it's just an existence...if you can find a landlord who'll rent to someone on jobseekers in the first place - many are not keen.

No, you will have nothing left at all assuming there will even be enough to cover bills.
