    this is a question for your gp not for random people on the internet.. why the fear of surgery doe? the surgeon would not be allowed perform the surgery if he was incompetent, they spend years in college and residency for a reason.. and when i become a surgeon I'd hope my patients will let me do what I have trained for so many years to do. My advice is go to your gp and if surgery is the only option go to the best around, you don't get that title for nothing..
