Why is tosh point o funny?

I don't really understand it. It seems as though he shows videos of people doing really dangerous things that look like the person is at serious risk for dying. And lately I feel they've been showing even more dangerous videos where the person is for sure going to break something.

So is it funny that the people are doing stupid stuff? This would be funny in the way that jackass is? Or is it his commentary, because it usually is something like "Let's watch how stupid this guy is"(Guy dives headfirst into an empty pool and is injured(It probably doesn't show the Ambulance picking him up)) "Wow that Guy is dumber than a nail"

I feel like if the video were not on that show and people watched it independently then most people would think that most of those videos are kind of gruesome.

Or is it just funny in a sick and twisted way that he's making fun of someone who looks like they seriously got hurt?

Also the comedy doesn't seem to be original. I feel anyone could do the exact same thing without even trying. His job must be easy.
