SCART to HDMI adapter?
I have a Sumsung UE 32D 5000 LCD TV with a set of HDMI input connections on the back. All my outputs from my Sky box, video recorders etc have SCART connections. I cannot seem to find on the internet, ie Maplins, Amazon etc a suitable SCART to HDMI connector. Which makes me wonder if a straight conversion is possible or is a more complicated bit of kit necessary. Advise appreciated

According to the link below, SCART limits you to a component connection (red-green-blue video) for HD. You should be able to buy an inexpensive SCART-component adapter cable and connect that to the component input on your TV. The HD video quality with component (on television channels) will be identical to what you'd get with an HDMI converter.

if what you need is more holes for your SCARTs you need a conventor which is quite expensive
