Is it normal for an average 19 year old girl to want to settle down into a meaningful relationship?
"Meaningful" meaning a child & a lifetime connection with the young man I am deeply in love with. Void of shallowness & outside people...I'm ready to become a woman I've been independent my whole life with no one to share my love with. I mean, I've always had my mom along the way but I've always been self sufficient. I'm in desperate need of true meaning & purpose in my life. I work, & I'm trying to get back into school because I'm very passionate about my education & making money to provide for myself. Is it wrong to want these things so bad? I'm only 19 am I in too much of a rush?

yes, it is normal.
in fact, it used to be much MORE normal.
nowadays, most people grow up very slowly and don't start thinking like responsible adults until later in life.
i hope that you have a man who feels the same as you, and is committed to it.

It's normal to think about the future. I am 19 years old going to be 20 this year and I think you should have half fun half that. I mean you're only young once. There are a lot of career oriented people and I think you are one of them. Nothing wrong with that just incorporate some fun in your life too. Don't get too serious!
